Laser Cutting Operator with CAD Experience - Clothing Industry

Job Overview

We are seeking a Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join a customization and production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality customized materials while maintaining accuracy, quality, and production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform laser cutting operations using industrial laser cutting equipment to cut letters, numbers, and other materials.
• Select the appropriate cutting programs and fixtures.
• Establish proper stop locations and adjust the laser beam focal point as required.
• Set up equipment properly for all cutting operations.
• Perform routine and prescribed equipment maintenance.
• Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor.
• Complete production orders within required timelines.
• Perform other production-related duties as required.

Shift

Full-time Night Shift
Monday to Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of laser operator experience.
• Experience with CAD cutting programs and CorelDRAW.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
• Good time-management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and identify defects.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Sports background or knowledge is considered an asset.
