Position Summary

We are committed to providing exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences at every event. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering friendly, professional beverage service while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and presentation. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong bartending skills, and thrives in a fast-paced banquet and event environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes, company standards, and Smart Serve regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests while creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Set up, stock, and maintain banquet bars before, during, and after events.
• Process beverage orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash and inventory controls where applicable.
• Ensure bar areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout events.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with Smart Serve and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with banquet servers, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.
• Adapt to varying event sizes and service styles while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in banquet, hospitality, or restaurant settings.
• Mixology knowledge and experience preparing a wide variety of cocktails.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during high-volume events.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Experience with the Toast POS system is considered an asset.

This is a permanent casual position with flexible, as-needed shifts. Hours may vary depending on operational requirements.
