THE ROLE: As a General Labourer you will support daily operations at a busy parcel distribution facility in Etobicoke, ON. You will be responsible for handling packages, sorting freight, and loading and unloading trailers to help ensure shipments move efficiently through the facility. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced opportunity with temporary-to-permanent potential in Etobicoke, ON.The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working in a team environment while meeting daily operational demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload packages and freight from trailers.
• Sort packages according to designated destinations and shipment requirements.
• Move, lift, and handle packages throughout the facility.
• Maintain an efficient workflow to support daily shipping and distribution operations.
• Follow package-handling procedures and ensure shipments are sorted accurately.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational deadlines.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other general labour and warehouse duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be physically capable of performing repetitive lifting and package handling throughout the shift.
• Packages typically weigh approximately 25–50 lbs, with some potentially weighing up to 100 lbs
• Must be comfortable loading and unloading trailers and sorting freight in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Must be able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.
• Previous warehouse, courier, parcel-sorting, freight-handling, or general labour experience is an asset.
• Must be dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Must be willing to learn and complete the provided onboarding.
• Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to support daily operations wherever needed.
