Food Service Customer Attendant

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking team member to join our food service team. This position involves providing excellent customer service, taking orders, preparing and serving simple food items, and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen and service area.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with customers, and takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Take food orders in person and over the phone.
• Prepare and serve simple food items from start to finish.
• Prepare, portion, and organize ingredients for food preparation.
• Stock, package, and organize food items as needed.
• Assist with proper food storage and inventory organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, counters, and work surfaces.
• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or customer service experience is an asset.
• Friendly and professional attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing regular kitchen and food-service tasks.
