Paint Correction, Vinyl Wrap & PPF Specialist — Sleekz Automotive Scarborough, Ontario

Sleekz Automotive is looking for a skilled, reliable technician to perform paint correction, vinyl wrapping, and paint protection film (PPF) installations.

Timing and efficiency are top priorities in this role. You must plan your work, maintain a productive pace, and complete jobs within agreed timelines while delivering a precise, professional finish. Protecting the vehicle and maintaining installation quality are essential.

Your responsibilities include:

Perform paint inspections, decontamination, surface preparation, masking, and machine polishing.

Select appropriate pads, compounds, and polishing methods based on paint condition and thickness.

Reduce paint defects safely and inspect finished work for haze, holograms, residue, and consistency.

Prepare vehicles and install vinyl wraps, including panel alignment, trimming, edge finishing, and post-heating according to manufacturer instructions.

Install PPF with accurate positioning, clean edges, and careful control of contamination, bubbles, and stretch marks.

Safely remove and reinstall trim and related components when required and within your ability.

Handle film efficiently to minimize waste, damaged material, and unnecessary rework.

Record job progress and working time, and communicate potential delays before deadlines are missed.

Inspect completed work, correct deficiencies, and leave each vehicle clean and ready for delivery.

Keep tools, equipment, and the installation area clean and organized.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with machine polishing, vinyl wraps, and PPF, along with strong attention to detail and time management. Experience using film pattern software and a cutting plotter is an asset. You must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Photos or examples of previous work are encouraged.
