Injection Molding Set Up Technician
Status: Full-Time
Shift:

• Afternoon Shift | 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
• Night Shift | 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00/hour
Location: Martingrove Rd & Steeles Ave West, Richmond Hill, ON Overtime opportunities available on weekends.
Important: Public transit does not operate during night shift hours. Reliable transportation is required. We are searching for a skilled Injection Molding Set Up Technician to install and dial in molds, keep machines running, and support the wider production team. This role requires the confidence to work independently and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment with minimal supervision
• Install and remove molds and document all process changes
• Read specifications, blueprints, and manuals to install injection molds correctly
• Monitor the ongoing operation of molding machines and robots; troubleshoot process problems
• Respond to machine alarms and perform diagnostics on equipment
• Troubleshoot machine problems and train junior technicians as needed
• Communicate with quality, maintenance, and operations teams
• Support ongoing safety and quality initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in injection molding set-up or process development preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Computer and hand tool proficiency
• Ability to frequently squat, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working an afternoon or night shift
• Certifications: Master Molder certification and DC3 process experience are recommended, but not required.
