Injection Molding Process Technician
Status: Full-Time Shift:

• Afternoon Shift | 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
• Night Shift | 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00/hour Location: Martingrove Rd & Steeles Ave West, Richmond Hill, ON Overtime opportunities available on weekends.
Important: Public transit does not operate during night shift hours. Reliable transportation is required. We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to maintain quality and keep production running smoothly. You will fine-tune the molding process, handle mold and material changeovers, and troubleshoot issues as they come up.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform adjustments to the injection molding process to maintain quality to company standards
• Set molds and perform die changes as needed
• Perform color and material changeovers
• Start up and maintain injection molding machines; adjust cycle times to meet production standards
• Monitor machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) and optimize for efficiency
• Troubleshoot process issues and adjust settings to resolve them
• Perform quality checks on parts and complete required documentation
• Adjust and troubleshoot molding robotics (e.g., Yushin robots) as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an injection molding process technician required
• Strong knowledge of plastic materials, molds, and injection molding processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience adjusting/troubleshooting molding robotics is a plus (Yushin experience an asset)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Certifications: Technical certification in injection molding is an asset, though not required.
