We are looking for a Welding Equipment Repairer to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair welding and cutting equipment. The successful candidate will work with MIG, TIG and Stick welding machines, plasma cutting equipment, and related industrial equipment.
Main duties include:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair welding and cutting equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment problems.
- Repair or replace defective components and parts.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Use multimeters and other electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Assist with assembly, testing and calibration of welding equipment.
- Work with MIG, TIG, Stick and plasma cutting equipment.
- Assist with robotic and collaborative robot (cobot) welding equipment and automation systems.
- Maintain service and repair records.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
