Job Title: Live-In Community ManagerPrimary Location: Cloverdale, BCJob Status: Full-Time, PermanentCompany Overview:Pacific Cove Properties is a BC-owned and operated property management and development company providing rental accommodation to almost 3000 families and individuals in communities throughout British Columbia, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Live-In Community Manager to lead the on-site team at Cloverdale Apartments. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of daily building operations, build lasting relationships with residents, and make a visible difference in the community you call home.The role combines team leadership with direct involvement in leasing, resident concerns, and building upkeep. You'll have support from the property management team and responsibility for following through on the details that keep the community well-managed.This position requires the successful candidate to live on-site.Key Responsibilities:Lead the on-site maintenance and cleaning team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming property.Build positive resident relationships, responding to concerns and resolving issues with professionalism and follow-through.Coordinate leasing activities, including advertising, inquiries, suite showings, and tenancy applications, to support occupancy.Manage rent collection, deposits, and tenancy documentation in accordance with company policies and the BC Residential Tenancy Act.Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and suite turnovers, ensuring homes are ready for incoming residents.Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with staff and contractors to ensure repairs are completed promptly.Work with the property management team on property improvements and more complex resident or operational matters.Required Skillsets:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and professional manner.Effective organization and time management, with the ability to balance daily operations and changing resident needs.Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills.Confidence handling resident disputes and sensitive conversations with tact and discretion.Ability to provide clear direction to staff and coordinate work with contractors.Proficiency with email, electronic records, and property management software.Education and Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of residential property management or resident management experience.Comprehensive understanding of the BC Residential Tenancy Act.Experience in leasing, tenancy administration, and resident relations.
