Position SummaryReporting to the Food & Beverage Manager – The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. This role includes crafting cocktails, pouring beer and wine, recommending drink selections, and ensuring the bar is fully stocked and maintained. The Bartender must uphold service standards, comply with all liquor regulations, and provide an inviting atmosphere for guests.Why Silvertip ResortDiscounted: golf privileges, staff meals, restaurant meals, grocery and golf shop purchases at Silvertip Resort & Eagle Ranch Resort.Subsidized Staff Accommodation on site. $23 per day.Our people experience working at a world-class Golf resort.We offer a diverse and engaging work environment in a unique location.Close to many outdoor adventures - Banff National Park, Kootenay National Park, Sunshine Resort, Lake Louise Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, etc.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly, take beverage orders, and provide drink recommendations based on guest preferences.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and guest requests.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.Ensure compliance with ProServe standards, alcohol service regulations, and all health and safety protocols.Monitor bar stock levels, restock supplies, and communicate shortages to management.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders, handle payments accurately, and reconcile daily transactions.Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, resolving concerns promptly and professionally.Collaborate with servers and other Food & Beverage team members to ensure seamless service.RequirementsProven bartending or mixology experience.ProServe certification or willing to obtain.Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.Eligible to work in Canada full-time.Able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak service times.Positive attitude, creativity, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.Flexibility to work in all Food & Beverage outlets and adapt to changing demands.Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
