Christmas closure is paid time off from December 25 – January 1 each year.Description:The NLC Foundation Clerk provides front line client services, and clerical and administrative support for the NLC Foundation. The role includes assisting the Development Officer with donor events and carrying out standard office functions such as filing, photocopying, coordinating and setting up meetings, sorting mail, overseeing copier and fax equipment, and responding to community inquiries and requests for information. This position holds financial responsibilities for the Foundation, including preparing financial documents, travel requisitions, personal reimbursement claims, and departmental credit card statements for payment. The Clerk coordinates the processing of purchase orders and cheque requisitions and ensures the appropriate financial coding of departmental expenses.Qualifications:Required:Two years of related experience.One year of post-secondary education, with preference given to candidates holding an Office Administration certificate.Proficiency with a current version of Microsoft Office.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational and teamwork abilities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively multi-task.
