Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join a high-priority digital transformation initiative with a major enterprise client in Downtown Toronto.

In this role, you will serve as a key Release Owner supporting a large, multi-team Salesforce engineering environment. The deployment infrastructure is already fully established—your core mission is to execute day-to-day DevOps operations, clear pipeline bottlenecks, manage code merges, and maintain environment alignment across complex sandbox and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Release Execution: Manage day-to-day Salesforce deployments, branch management, and metadata synchronization across Sandbox and Production environments.

  • Code Merges & PRs: Facilitate pull requests (PRs), resolve complex XML/metadata merge conflicts, and enforce code quality standards before release.

  • Environment Governance: Coordinate sandbox refreshes, deployment validations, and automated pipeline test runs.

  • Release Windows: Support scheduled release windows (including periodic off-hours deployments ~once every 3 weeks).

  • Developer Unblocking: Partner closely with Dev Leads and engineering teams to streamline release velocity and resolve pipeline issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Salesforce DevOps Background: Proven track record as a dedicated Release/DevOps Engineer in complex, enterprise Salesforce environments.

  • CI/CD & Deployment Tooling: Hands-on experience with enterprise release management tools (e.g., Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or SFDX / Salesforce CLI).

  • Git Proficiency: Deep expertise in Git-based version control, branching strategies, and resolving complex metadata/XML merge conflicts.

  • Salesforce Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata structures, environment management, and release governance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in regulated enterprise or financial domain environments.

  • Exposure to supporting large, multi-team Agile engineering squads.

Thank you for applying! Due to a high volume of applications, only qualified candidates will be contacted.
