Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days/week)
Engagement: 6-Month Initial Contract (Strong potential for extension / FTE conversion)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join a high-priority digital transformation initiative with a major enterprise client in Downtown Toronto.
In this role, you will serve as a key Release Owner supporting a large, multi-team Salesforce engineering environment. The deployment infrastructure is already fully established—your core mission is to execute day-to-day DevOps operations, clear pipeline bottlenecks, manage code merges, and maintain environment alignment across complex sandbox and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Release Execution: Manage day-to-day Salesforce deployments, branch management, and metadata synchronization across Sandbox and Production environments.
Code Merges & PRs: Facilitate pull requests (PRs), resolve complex XML/metadata merge conflicts, and enforce code quality standards before release.
Environment Governance: Coordinate sandbox refreshes, deployment validations, and automated pipeline test runs.
Release Windows: Support scheduled release windows (including periodic off-hours deployments ~once every 3 weeks).
Developer Unblocking: Partner closely with Dev Leads and engineering teams to streamline release velocity and resolve pipeline issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Salesforce DevOps Background: Proven track record as a dedicated Release/DevOps Engineer in complex, enterprise Salesforce environments.
CI/CD & Deployment Tooling: Hands-on experience with enterprise release management tools (e.g., Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or SFDX / Salesforce CLI).
Git Proficiency: Deep expertise in Git-based version control, branching strategies, and resolving complex metadata/XML merge conflicts.
Salesforce Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata structures, environment management, and release governance.
Nice to Have
Experience in regulated enterprise or financial domain environments.
Exposure to supporting large, multi-team Agile engineering squads.
