Shipper/ Receiver with Counter Balance Experience

Work for a leading distributor and manufacturer of geosynthetic products that has been in business for over 50 years! This long-standing company is continuing to grow - we are looking to hire a shipper/receiver with sit-down counterbalance forklift certification and experience!

Position Details:

• Pay rate: $22/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Duties:

• Operate the sit-down counterbalance forklift
• Assemble containers and crates and record contents
• Pack goods to be shipped and label with identifying information and shipping instructions
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods
• Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas
• Maintain record-keeping systems

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Counterbalance forklift certification
• Comfortable with using a computer as you will be spending a good amount of time entering information
• Must have at least 6 months of experience operating the Counterbalance forklift
• Must have strong English speaking and comprehension skills
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs with reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
