Lemon & Oak Counselling Services is a growing private counselling practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-informed, and client-centered mental health care. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Registered Social Worker (RSW) who is committed to helping individuals, couples, families, and children/youth thrive.

Position

Registered Social Worker (Full-time Self-employed Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Provide ethical, trauma-informed counselling services to clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and participate in case consultations as appropriate.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional standards in accordance with provincial legislation and professional ethics.
  • Build positive therapeutic relationships in a warm, welcoming environment.
  • Maintain professional registration and continuing education requirements.
  • Strong asset to work independently within a team of self-employed contractors.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Master of Social Work (MSW).
  • Current registration and good standing (or eligibility for registration) with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills.
  • Current Criminal record and Vulnerable sector check.
  • Strong ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive, and client-centred care.

  • Couples and relationship counselling
  • Family therapy
  • Children and adolescents
  • ADHD and neurodiversity
  • Indigenous and culturally responsive practice
  • Addictions and recovery
  • Life transitions and stress management
