Employment Status: Regular Full Time

Dealership: OpenRoad Boundary Region

Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000+ annually

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the Sales Department.
  • Playing an active role in each customer interaction and assisting Advisors in all aspects of the sale process, most importantly securing sale transactions.
  • Structuring new + used vehicle transactions according to dealer + manufacturer guidelines.
  • Working with sales associates and leading team towards targets, including measuring performance, and evaluating trades.
  • Leading regular team meetings
  • Commitment to meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Providing highest level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Developing and executing the selling cycle.
  • Developing processes that align with sales goals and involve various departments.
  • Training + coaching new and tenured Advisors on product knowledge, sales process, team objectives… etc.
  • Daily check-in and check-out to ensure daily metrics are met.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Extremely self-motivated with unparalleled standards and strong leadership skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, have the ability to work effectively with all levels and departments of the organization.
  • Strong adherence to processes
  • Strong administrative abilities
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Full commitment and accountability with completion of team initiatives, strategic plans, business campaigns, target achievements… etc.
  • Familiar with Excel, Powerpoint, Word and other digital office platforms.
  • Well organized and detail orientated.
  • Minimum of 2 years automotive sales management experience, with a valid VSA License.
  • Additional language skills considered a strong asset: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Hindi, Farsi… etc.
  • Experience with various automotive platforms. Ie: Reynolds, CUDL, Cox Automotive, vAuto, One-Eighty, CDK, Rapid Response, AutoTrader 1source, Rapid Recon… etc.
  • A valid British Columbia Driver's License with a good driving record
