Full-Time Vehicle Inspector – Hobsons Lake, Halifax, NS

Location: Hobsons Lake, Halifax, NS
Start Date: August 5, 2026 (after successful onsite interview)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekend availability required
Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM + 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay: $17.50/hour + 4% vacation pay (SIN payroll)

Job Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles inside and out for cleanliness, damage, and overall condition
Identify and document vehicle damage, defects, and missing items
Ensure vehicles meet quality and presentation standards
Maintain clean and hygienic work practices
Complete inspection reports accurately and efficiently
Move and position vehicles safely as required
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
Own vehicle required for commuting to the location
Previous dealership or automotive experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle issues
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
