Job Description:

The purpose of the shop is to prepare everything for installation. Your goal will be to assist with all shop activities and prep doors for the installers. Responsibilities include:

• Cutting windows into door panels.
• Assembling track and hardware.
• Operating a forklift to move items around the shop.
• Delivering and picking up parts as needed.

You will learn the ins and outs of how doors are prepped and built. This role is ideal for someone ready to work and skilled at solving problems.

The Specifics:

• Full-time position based in our shop in Surrey.
• Year-round work, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Options for overtime when orders allow.
• Not affected by seasonal layoffs.
• Starting wage of $23 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Who We're Looking For:

If you're motivated, hard-working, and a quick learner, most of the job can be learned on-site. Additional qualifications include:

• Experience working in a shop (an asset).
• Experience with mechanical tasks (an asset).
• Highly detail-oriented individual.
• Ability to handle periods of physical manual labor.
• Clean driver’s abstract and a full driver’s license.
