Canadian Sales Manager & Product Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Canadian Sales Manager & Product Specialist to drive business growth and support a national distributor and dealer network within the building products industry.
This role combines sales leadership, technical product expertise, business development, and customer support. The successful candidate will work closely with distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and other industry professionals to expand market share while providing technical guidance and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support distributor and dealer relationships across Canada.
- Identify and recruit new dealers and business partners.
- Grow market share through business development and customer engagement.
- Conduct product training, joint sales calls, and technical field support.
- Assist with installation guidance and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support sales, marketing, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience within building products, construction materials, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems, decking products, building envelope systems, or similar construction products is an asset.
- Experience working with distributor and dealer networks.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to provide product support and training.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
