The Opportunity
We're looking for an exceptional People & Talent Manager to lead the day-to-day people function at NKPR.
This role is about much more than HR administration. It's about helping build a high-performing business through great people, strong processes and thoughtful leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across the agency.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communications and reference checks.
- Prepare employment offers and employment agreements.
- Support campus recruitment and internship programs.
- Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Lead the onboarding experience for all new employees.
- Ensure new hires have the tools, resources and support they need to succeed.
- Coordinate probationary reviews and onboarding check-ins.
- Manage employee offboarding and exit interviews.
- Performance & Employee Development
- Coordinate the agency's performance review process.
- Support managers with performance conversations and development plans.
- Help identify learning and development opportunities across the agency.
- Support employee recognition and career growth initiatives.
People Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Administer employee benefits and vacation tracking.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and day-to-day HR matters.
- Partner with external legal counsel as required.
Culture & Engagement
- Help foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and team celebrations.
- Support internal communications and people-focused programs that strengthen the employee experience.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- CHRP designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, professional and solutions-oriented approach.

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
