The Restaurant Sous Chef plays a key role in supporting the culinary team and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in our new cafe. This role assists in food preparation, maintaining high standards of food quality, and upholding safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily food preparation and cooking tasks
- Support the head chef in menu planning and implementation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Help manage kitchen staff and coordinate workflow
Required Qualifications
- Strong culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in culinary or kitchen management
