Position Summary
This isnt just about moving materials its about moving them right.
Youll play a key role in keeping our yard safe, organized, and efficient by operating equipment with focus, precision, and care to move and load precast material.
What Youll Do
- Safety operate equipment (overhead cranes, gantry cranes, shunt trucks, forklifts)
- Load, unload, and position materials with accuracy and care
- Assist with rigging and crane signaling
- Support general yard and loading operations
- Keep the yard organized, clean, and efficient
- Complete pre- and post-shift equipment inspections

Requirements
- Successful interview candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment assessment
- Valid Class 1 license, with acceptable drivers abstract
- Ability to work 44 hours per week, including overtime as required
- Available Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction, equipment operating, overhead crane operating, and rigging
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work at heights, up to 16 feet
- Ability to follow direction and communicate effectively with the team
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

This role is based in Blackfalds, AB.
The position requires 44 hours per week, including overtime as required, with availability Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays.
You will operate equipment, load/unload and position materials, assist with rigging and crane signaling, support yard operations, keep the yard organized, and complete pre- and post-shift inspections.
You should have experience operating overhead cranes, gantry cranes, shunt trucks, and forklifts, along with a basic understanding of rigging and crane signaling.
A valid Class 1 license with an acceptable driver’s abstract is required, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically perform demanding tasks.
