Located in Coquitlam, BC, we are a supply-only structural steel fabricator servicing both the Canadian and US markets. As a single-source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems and deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! Reporting to the Production Manager, the Welder will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, welding, and ensuring the plant is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Qualifications:

• Experience welding in a structural steel shop environment
• CWB Welder MCAW/FCAW
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
• Interpret welding process specifications
• Proficient in CP welds and back gouging (asset)
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• CWB ticket (asset)

Competencies:

• Team player
• Good understanding of metal fabrication
• All position ticketed welder (asset)
• Ability to operate cranes
