JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Perform pre-shift inspection.
Grinding of frames and doors.
Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment.
Utilize spray gun.
Body fill: screens, windows, transoms, doors, frames.
Apply glass stops on screen windows.
Use a variety of hand tools and machines.
Operate sandblasting machine to clean surface prior to painting or coating.
Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.
Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisor to determine work requirements.
Utilize all types of painting material.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Ability to lift 22 kg/50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Be in your current position for a period of at least six (6) months, unless this position cannot be filled internally by another employee who meets this requirement.
Have no disciplinary record for the previous six (6) months of employment.
Have a good attendance/timekeeping record for the previous six (6) months of employment.
Be willing and able to successfully complete training deemed appropriate for the position.
