What will I do in this Web & Systems Developer role?

You will develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting e-learning and academic systems, build and maintain Canvas LMS integrations via APIs, modernize legacy applications, design database-driven applications, and collaborate with educators and technical teams to improve digital learning experiences.

Where is this job located and what is the work arrangement?

This position is based in Ottawa, Ontario with a hybrid work arrangement and requires meeting at least 1 day per week to collaborate with the team.

What experience and technical skills are required for this role?

The role requires 4+ years of full-stack web development, strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and experience with IIS or Linux servers, plus ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Is experience with LMS platforms or WordPress important for this job?

Experience with Canvas, Moodle, or Brightspace is considered an asset, and WordPress or similar CMS experience is beneficial.

What benefits does the company offer for this role?

Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, plus paid time off, RRSP matching, and health, dental, and vision benefits.
