You will develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting e-learning and academic systems, build and maintain Canvas LMS integrations via APIs, modernize legacy applications, design database-driven applications, and collaborate with educators and technical teams to improve digital learning experiences.
This position is based in Ottawa, Ontario with a hybrid work arrangement and requires meeting at least 1 day per week to collaborate with the team.
The role requires 4+ years of full-stack web development, strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and experience with IIS or Linux servers, plus ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Canvas, Moodle, or Brightspace is considered an asset, and WordPress or similar CMS experience is beneficial.
Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, plus paid time off, RRSP matching, and health, dental, and vision benefits.
You will work in a highly collaborative, education-focused organization supporting large-scale digital learning initiatives and collaborate with educators, administrators, and technical teams.
You will work with MySQL databases, backend services, production environments, RESTful API integrations, and aid in modernizing web applications and LMS integrations.
