We are hiring on behalf of our client. As a Tow Motor Operator, you will be performing a variety of production-related tasks:
- Operate a tow motor to pull, lift, stack, tier, or move product, equipment, or bulk materials in the respective department with the primary responsibility to service production employees.
- Complete daily forklift checklist.
- Continually watch for other workers and take all precautions to ensure worker safety.
- Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure the forklift is operating properly.
- Keep parts properly grouped together in plant aisles.
- Keep work area organized to minimize hazards.
- Ensure part baskets are set in a safe and sturdy manner.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to continual improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Tow motor certification.
- Strong attendance record.
- Ability to read shop orders and identify parts needed.
- Recognize parts by their name and identification numbers.
