Event Delivery Driver – Seventh Heaven Event Catering

Show Up Strong. Every Time.

At Seventh Heaven Event Catering, our drivers are the opening act of every event. When the van pulls up, the client's confidence in us is already being decided. Calm, on time, polished, and prepared-that's our standard.

We are looking for experienced drivers who take pride in doing things properly, plan their routes before pulling out of the lot, and treat the back of a van like it matters.

What You'll Own

Your primary responsibility will be loading, securing, and transporting food, equipment, and supplies safely. You will ensure on-time delivery to various GTA event venues by closely following manifests and schedules. Maintaining strict food safety and temperature control standards during transit is essential to our operation.

Beyond driving, you will perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure our fleet remains road-ready. When on location, you will assist with event setup and breakdown as needed, log delivery times, record confirmations, and track equipment drop-offs. Above all, you will represent Seventh Heaven professionally at every client venue.

Pay Levels

We offer flat hourly rates based on experience and capability:

Description

Level 1

Lead Driver

$22–$25/hr

Independent on complex multi-stop days, confident with cargo vans and box trucks, and leads on-site setup.

Level 2

Experienced Driver

$20–$22/hr

Owns standard deliveries with minimal supervision; accurate and dependable.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid Ontario G-class license with a clean driver's abstract. We require a minimum of two years of delivery driving experience, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in handling cargo vans or box trucks. A background in catering or hospitality is also highly preferred, as this is not standard courier work-event timing is everything.

Candidates should possess a Food Handler certification or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire. The physical demands of the role require the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6–8 hour shifts. Strong time management and route-planning skills are critical, as is availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What We Offer

We provide a real team environment-not just a gig-at a respected GTA catering company. You can expect steady event work with consistent crews, alongside flat hourly rates that offer a clear path to higher pay levels. We invest in our team with paid training to help you grow into roles with more responsibility, and we provide free meals during your shifts.

Hiring Process

Our hiring process is straightforward and quick: Apply online, attend an in-person interview, complete a paid trial shift, and receive an offer.

If you take pride in reliability and want to be part of a team that delivers excellence at every event, we'd like to meet you.

Interested? We'd love to hear from you! Please submit your resume to apply. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
