Automotive Apprentice

Location: Cardinal Kia

Compensation: $18 to $28.00 an hour based on experience

Availability Required: Monday to Friday

*Hours will vary between 7 am and 7 pm daily.

Youll love your position as an Experienced Automotive Apprentice:

• Inspect, diagnose and repair customer's vehicles
• Work with a Master Technician on all service work orders to complete work efficiently and accurately
• Test drive vehicles for diagnosing issues and tracing any problems
• Consult and notify the service team if additional work is required or if repairs can't be completed in the anticipated timeline
• Obtain parts from the parts department and return parts as required
• Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs and meet customer expectations
• Support maintaining a clean shop at all times and complete maintenance as required
• Follow all company policies, processes, and health and safety requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Wed love to hear from you if you have:

• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency
• Registered Automotive Apprentice with at least 12 years of car dealership experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair tools, software, and techniques
• Strong computer skills and the ability to use diagnostic software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or instructions
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid G Drivers License and a clean abstract
• Ability to drive manual vehicles (an asset)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs at a time
• Open availability
