Position Summary

Mad Engine Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to support our Accessories Department. This role will assist in managing the end-to-end production process for accessories categories (e.g., bags, headwear, small goods, and other non-apparel items), ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production team in managing the lifecycle of accessories from development through bulk production and delivery
  • Coordinate with overseas vendors, factories, and internal cross-functional teams (design, sourcing, logistics, and sales)
  • Track and maintain production timelines using WIP (Work in Progress) reports and ensure adherence to key milestones
  • Follow up on sample development, approvals, and revisions to meet production deadlines
  • Assist in placing and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of product details, pricing, and delivery dates
  • Monitor production status and proactively address delays or issues
  • Ensure all product specifications, packaging, and labeling requirements are met according to customer and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Support quality control processes and help resolve production or compliance issues
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams to provide updates on production status

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Production, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in production coordination, preferably in accessories, soft goods, or consumer products
  • Strong understanding of global production processes and supply chain logistics
  • Experience working with overseas vendors and factories
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with PLM systems is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
