- Sales and Client Management: Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and close sales. This includes following up on leads and maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the construction products and services offered, including their applications and benefits, to effectively communicate with clients
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present sales proposals, including cost estimates and project timelines, to clients
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and project management, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution
Qualifications
- Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in the construction industry, is highly valued. Many employers look for candidates with at least 2-5 years of sales experience
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should also possess problem-solving abilities and be comfortable using technology for sales management
