About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Millwright / Industrial Mechanic to join a fast-paced manufacturing and packaging operation in St. Marys, ON. This role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, experience working with automated production equipment, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.You will play a key role in maintaining and repairing production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant efficiency within a continuous manufacturing environment.

- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on corrugators, die cutters, flexographic printers, folder-gluers, and conveyor systems
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and automated control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability
- Utilize maintenance software, SAP, and diagnostic tools to document and track repairs
- Perform alignments, gearbox maintenance, and belt/chain adjustments
- Work closely with production teams to resolve equipment and operational issues efficiently
- Support 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and company safety procedures
- Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and training programs
- Mentor apprentices and junior maintenance team members as needed
- Recommend process and equipment improvements to increase operational efficiency and reliability
- 3–5 years of experience as a Red Seal Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in manufacturing or packaging environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and automated production systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with SAP, maintenance software, and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
