The Car Salon is currently seeking a passionate and motivated 12-Volt Electronics & Accessories Installer to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.

With over 20 years in business, our company includes a full-service mechanical shop, autobody division, detailing center, and automotive restyling department — all operating under one roof.

We are looking for an “electronics enthusiast” with experience in aftermarket automotive electronics installation or sales, including remote starters, audio systems, dash cams, and related accessories. Whether you are an experienced installer or someone eager to expand your skills in a professional shop environment, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will assist with or independently perform the installation of aftermarket automotive electronics while also helping customers choose products and solutions that best suit their needs.

This role combines technical skill, customer service, and sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and interacting with people.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Technical Work

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:

• Installing and servicing:
• • Remote starters (1-way, 2-way, and various brands)
  • Car audio systems (single DIN, double DIN, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, etc.)
  • Dash cameras
  • Backup camera systems
  • Additional aftermarket automotive electronics and accessories
• Performing remote starter resets and reprogramming
• Troubleshooting and resolving installation-related issues
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products and solutions
• Providing quotes for electronics and accessory installations
• Suggesting upgrades and add-on products to enhance the customer experience
• Delivering professional and friendly customer service at all times

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• Passionate about cars and automotive technology

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality workmanship
• Friendly, outgoing, and confident communicating with customers

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive electronics installation or sales
• Experience with aftermarket electronics accessories preferred
• Familiarity with brands such as Compustar and Viper is considered an asset
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
