Inside Commercial Lines Sales Broker
Location: Ontario (Hybrid/On-Site)
Our client is a growing insurance brokerage currently seeking an Inside Commercial Lines Sales Broker to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and has experience handling inbound opportunities while actively developing a pipeline of new business.
The successful candidate will have prior call centre or high-volume sales experience, strong communication skills, and at least one year of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound Commercial Lines insurance inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective commercial clients through outbound activity and follow-up
  • Quote, market, and bind new Commercial Lines business
  • Identify client needs and provide appropriate coverage recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
  • Work closely with insurance markets and underwriters to secure competitive terms
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflow management within brokerage systems
  • Meet individual sales, activity, and performance targets
  • Cross-sell and identify additional coverage opportunities where appropriate
  • Stay current on commercial insurance products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines
Qualifications & Experience
  • Active RIBO licence required
  • Minimum 1 year of Commercial Lines insurance experience
  • Previous call centre or high-volume sales environment experience required
  • Experience handling inbound leads and building a sales pipeline through outbound activity
  • Strong sales aptitude and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with broker management systems and Microsoft Office
