Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be the face of Durabuilt in the market - cultivating strong relationships with existing dealer accounts while aggressively prospecting new opportunities. You will spend approximately 75% of your time in-market managing the full sales cycle and 25% on CRM administration, forecasting, and cross-functional support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales (75%)
- Achieve maximum market penetration by strategically managing the dealer channel territory for the Saskatchewan market.
- Execute territory route planning with monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual cycles.
- Allocate 50% of in-market time to prospecting and developing relationships with customers who represent significant growth potential.
- Conduct in-person consultations to effectively communicate brand benefits and foster strong customer relationships.
- Implement a consultative selling approach - analyze customer RFQs, prepare competitive quotations, and follow up through to close.
- Create strong value propositions and provide value engineering options when appropriate.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up with customers to advance every opportunity to close, coordinating cross-departmentally for seamless order execution.
- Enter and manage opportunities in CRM throughout the sales cycle.
- Represent Durabuilt at company-sponsored events, trade association meetings, and customer tradeshows.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, complete take-offs, and use electronic systems to quote and order products.
- Complete CRM account management and call reporting with accuracy and consistency.
- Provide diligent monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Report on market analytics and progress toward targets at weekly sales meetings.
Experience & Education
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on B2B territory management.
- Strong strategic account management skills with proven consultative selling aptitude.
- Experience within residential/commercial construction, building materials, or development industries.
- Fenestration industry experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Intermediate–advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
- Diploma in Business, Architectural Technology, or Construction - equivalent experience considered.
