Job Title: Payroll Specialist **Immediate Hire!

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid 3-4 days on site)

Industry: Corporate Family Office

Salary: $35/hr

Our client is a large multi-entity, multi-generational private family office. This position will reporting into the Senior Manager HR Operations and work with and HR Coordinator who looks after benefit administration. Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the end to end payroll for multiple entities (Ontario payroll only) and mainly salaried employees.
  • Ensuring all payroll process is submitted before the deadline
  • Work with accounting to ensure accurate payroll transactions are recorded properly for salaries, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
  • Be a competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator; working closely with Human Resources and other areas within the organization
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial laws and best practices
  • Assist with other payroll duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Payroll or related field, PCP is preferred
  • 8+ years experience in payroll, with 2+ in a lead, specialist or stand -alone role
  • Multi-entity payroll experience is preferred
  • Experience ADP is mandatory
