Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the overall operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The Laborer will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance, pressure washing and cleaning of work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Mixing rubber and/or stone products.
- Starting and ending dates will vary on operational demands during the season and weather.
- Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery operation.
- Excellent communication skills, be able to follow direction and work independently
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Have own transportation around Cranbrook
- Trowelling experience an asset
