About the Logistics Project Engineering TeamThe Logistics Project Engineering (LPE) Team is where project execution, customer support and technical coordination come together. The team leads logistics activities from bid through delivery, working closely with customers, program teams, Engineering and Integrated Product Support to keep projects aligned, on schedule and moving forward. From shaping scope and supporting proposals to resolving issues and integrating engineering changes into sustainment products, LPE team members play a direct role in delivering practical support solutions for critical vehicle platforms. It's an ideal team for professionals who like ownership, collaboration and solving real-world problems in a dynamic environment. Key Job Elements
  • Lead the execution and coordination of GDLS-C supportability activities as part of the Logistics Project Engineering team.
  • Lead engagement with subcontractors to ensure logistics products and design changes are developed in accordance with contractual requirements and delivered on schedule.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design and Test teams to maintain alignment on internal and external schedules, resolve project issues, and drive execution.
  • Oversee GDLS-C configuration change requests and subcontractor engineering change proposals, including evaluation, coordination, and implementation of approved changes.
  • Lead or oversee the development and delivery of Logistics Support Analysis and Technical Publications products to the customer.
  • Manage project scope, cost, schedule and deliverables using EVMS and departmental processes.
  • Investigate project and test issues, assess impacts, and drive corrective actions to resolution.
  • Represent Logistics Engineering in customer and subcontractor meetings, including process reviews, logistics demonstrations, and verification activities.
  • Assess incoming internal and external correspondence for logistics impacts and coordinate timely, effective responses.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentoring within the team to support strong execution and continuous improvement.
Ensure safety, security, trade compliance, and ITAR requirements are understood and consistently followed across the work scope Required Qualifications
  • University Degree or College diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical, project or logistics engineering role
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM / EVMS)
  • Experience leading or supporting bid and proposal development
  • Strong knowledge of light armoured vehicles, military vehicle systems or similar mobile equipment platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical issues at the component, sub-system and system level
  • Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel within Canada (5%), the United States / internationally (10%) as required, and to obtain and maintain a valid passport
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and meet applicable site, safety and access requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • P.Eng, PMP or other relevant professional designation / certification considered an asset
  • Understanding of logistics engineering processes, products and deliverables
  • Experience managing customer requirements and compliance-driven deliverables
  • System integration experience
  • Experience in defense, vehicle or other complex regulated technical environments
