Overhead Crane Technician

Salary - Based on experience $40-$60

Various Locations Across Ontario

We are currently seeking experienced Overhead Crane Technicians for multiple growing industrial service organizations across Ontario. These opportunities involve the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of overhead cranes, hoists, and industrial lifting equipment within manufacturing and industrial environments.

These roles are ideal for mechanically and electrically inclined technicians who enjoy field service work, troubleshooting, and working independently within fast-paced industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment

• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and work orders accurately

• Support customers on-site with technical troubleshooting and service recommendations

• Work independently or alongside service teams to complete repairs safely and efficiently

• Maintain strong safety practices while working within industrial facilities and at heights

• Participate in service calls, shutdown work, and emergency breakdown support as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with overhead cranes, hoists, or industrial lifting equipment an asset

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

• 442A / 309A Electricians, 433A Millwrights, and apprentices are an asset and are encouraged to apply

• Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or field service environments

• Comfortable working at heights and within industrial settings

• Valid G Driver's License preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage service responsibilities
