Service Dispatch & Operations Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Service Dispatch & Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced field service operation. This role is responsible for coordinating field personnel, managing service schedules, and ensuring efficient execution of daily operational activities.
The position serves as a key coordination point between field teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring work is scheduled, tracked, and completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate field personnel for service and project-based work
  • Manage daily and forward scheduling to optimize resource allocation
  • Create, update, and maintain work orders within internal systems
  • Communicate assignments, updates, and changes to field teams in real time
  • Monitor active work throughout the day and adjust schedules as required
  • Support field staff with documentation, system access, and operational issues
  • Coordinate materials, parts, and logistics to support job completion
  • Track job progress, completion status, and schedule adherence
  • Assist with basic operational reporting and performance tracking
  • Support data accuracy across scheduling, work orders, and time tracking
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams regarding operational updates
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support as required
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in:
    • Service dispatching
    • Field service coordination
    • Scheduling or operations support in a service environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking operational setting
  • Strong ERP or work order system experience (similar platforms acceptable)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Experience supporting mobile or field-based teams
Preferred Experience
  • Background in field service, maintenance, or industrial operations environments
  • Exposure to workforce scheduling, routing, or service coordination
  • Experience managing competing priorities in real-time operational settings
  • Familiarity with operational tracking, reporting, or performance metrics
