Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced Service Dispatch & Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced field service operation. This role is responsible for coordinating field personnel, managing service schedules, and ensuring efficient execution of daily operational activities.
The position serves as a key coordination point between field teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring work is scheduled, tracked, and completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate field personnel for service and project-based work
- Manage daily and forward scheduling to optimize resource allocation
- Create, update, and maintain work orders within internal systems
- Communicate assignments, updates, and changes to field teams in real time
- Monitor active work throughout the day and adjust schedules as required
- Support field staff with documentation, system access, and operational issues
- Coordinate materials, parts, and logistics to support job completion
- Track job progress, completion status, and schedule adherence
- Assist with basic operational reporting and performance tracking
- Support data accuracy across scheduling, work orders, and time tracking
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams regarding operational updates
- Provide general administrative and coordination support as required
- Minimum 5+ years in:
- Service dispatching
- Field service coordination
- Scheduling or operations support in a service environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking operational setting
- Strong ERP or work order system experience (similar platforms acceptable)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience supporting mobile or field-based teams
- Background in field service, maintenance, or industrial operations environments
- Exposure to workforce scheduling, routing, or service coordination
- Experience managing competing priorities in real-time operational settings
- Familiarity with operational tracking, reporting, or performance metrics
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a time-sensitive environment
- Clear and professional communication with field and office teams
- High attention to detail in scheduling and data accuracy
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently within established processes
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
