Clean Harbors in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their safety conscious team! This role is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.

- Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
- Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
- Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning.
- Performs work at heights, on platforms.
- Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups.
- Performs a variety of labour project work.
- Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers and saws.
- Wears respirators for work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Class 5 license and reliable transportation to commute to necessary locations.
- Previous labour/hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to be physical at work, routinely lift and move objects.
- Previous experience working in confined spaces and at heights is preferred.
- Previous experience working with a respirator preferred.
- Ability to travel; this position can require overnight travel as needed.
- Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirator for work.
