Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator in Oshawa

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to join our team. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general warehouse duties, supporting various departments as needed.

Location: Oshawa, ON

Pay Rate: $22/h

Shift: 7am to 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, picking, packing, stocking, and staging products.
• Safely load and unload materials from racks, shelves, and vehicles.
• Stack and organize materials such as pallets, lumber, and other products.
• Secure shipments using appropriate materials (e.g., strapping, padding, bracing) to prevent damage.
• Verify inventory accuracy by comparing system records with physical stock.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Operate counterbalance and Raymond reach forklifts as required.
• Assist in other departments and complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance and Reach) required.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
