We are looking to add an Installation Support (Chimney Liner) Technician to our Edmonton team!

Reporting to the Director of Edmonton Operations and the Install Manager, the Installation Support Technician will specialize in the inspection, installation, repair, and maintenance of chimney liners in residential heating systems. Chimney liners are critical for ensuring safe and efficient venting of combustion gases from furnaces, and water heaters. This role blends technical expertise with customer service, focusing on home safety, code compliance, and system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

This position will include, but not be limited to the following:

Install Liners

• Install chimney liners for furnace replacements (including working on residential roofs and inside the customers home).
• Follow established standard operating procedures (SOP's) for installations.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up, tested and operational upon completion.

Install Team Support

• Assist in the installation of HVAC equipment in residential homes
• Occasionally assist the warehouse with material deliveries to installers job sites

Resource & Time Management

• Prepare and organize all necessary equipment and materials before arriving at the job site.
• Monitor and report inventory needs or equipment issues.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Customer Experience

• Explain the installation process to customer and address their questions or concerns.
• Conduct walk throughs with the customer at the beginning and end of each installation appointment and confirm customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the duration of each appointment.
• Explain operations and service requirements to the homeowner of the equipment installed.
• One time completion: Follow all processes to ensure each installation is completed properly and to code
  

Safety

• Actively participate in the company safety program, ensure job site safety at all times, and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines.
• Conduct scheduled vehicle inspections.
• Stay updated on local code and compliance requirements.
• Use tools and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-year drivers license with clean abstract
• Clear criminal background check
• Customer/member service and communication oriented
• Roofing experience or working at heights is preferred
