The Role

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations on structural concrete projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This individual will coordinate crews, equipment, and schedules while working closely with project managers, general contractors, and site partners. Strong leadership and hands-on experience with concrete structures are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for concrete structural projects, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality standards are met.

• Lead and supervise crews, trades, and subcontractors on site.

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain workflow.

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide work execution.

• Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Work closely with Project Managers to track progress, resolve issues, and provide updates.

• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.

• Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability on the job site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in structural concrete construction (high-rise, commercial, or multifamily).

• Proven ability to lead and manage crews on active construction sites.

• In-depth knowledge of concrete forming, placing, finishing, and structural systems.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Red Seal or relevant trade background considered an asset.
