POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Warehouse Kitting Technician is responsible for meeting daily goals in safety, quality, accuracy, and performance by picking materials and components (which include sheet metal, weldments, electrical parts, fasteners) from work orders to support the assembly of switchgear and equipment for the data center industry. This role also involves maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and can work independently or as part of a team. This position works Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret work orders and pick lists to identify required components

Accurately retrieve, inspect, and verify components for quantity and quality

Assemble, label, and package kits following established guidelines

Maintain detailed records of kit contents and any adjustments made

Perform routine inventory checks and report discrepancies

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Report delays or issues to the supervisor promptly

Support receiving and unloading of incoming materials when required

Safely lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma

SKILLS:

Prior experience in kitting, assembly, or warehouse operations preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Forklift experience preferred, with the ability to train.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse or production environment.
