Licensed Broker – Commercial Surety Account Executive

Employment Type: Full-time
Workplace Type: Remote (Hybrid option for Ontario)
Total Compensation: $75,000 – $200,000 per year

What You'll Do

Develop & Expand Business – Identify and close new commercial surety opportunities across Canada.
Build Key Relationships – Become the trusted advisor for business owners, CFOs, and legal teams.
Deliver Expert Bonding Solutions – Structure license & permit bonds, customs & excise bonds, fiduciary bonds, and other commercial surety products.
Advise on Risk & Compliance – Guide clients through underwriting requirements and regulatory obligations.
Leverage HubSpot CRM & Vertafore SIG – Manage pipelines, track submissions, and optimize follow-ups.
Collaborate with Underwriters – Secure competitive terms from top commercial surety markets.
Drive Revenue Growth – Consistently exceed sales targets for new business and renewals.

What You Bring to the Table

Active RIBO License (in good standing) – Required
3+ Years Commercial Insurance Experience – Commercial surety focus strongly preferred
✔ Proven success in closing mid-to-large scale surety accounts
✔ Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills
✔ CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred); Vertafore SIG experience is a plus
✔ Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive remotely
