Summary
As a Shipper/Receiver for Titan Environmental, youll play a vital role in managing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and preparing equipment for use. This temporary position is intended to support our operations during a period of increased demand. Youll have the opportunity to operate forklifts, use power tools, and assist with installations. If youre mechanically inclined, work well on your own, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this is your chance to step in and make a real impact on our team!

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Shipping & receiving of materials using provided equipment.
  • Keeping the yard organized and clean.
  • Comparing information on the packing slip with the purchase order to verify the accuracy of the shipment.
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing orders using the company ERP system.
  • Performing physical inventory counts, identifying inventory problems, correcting errors and maintaining the inventory accuracy
  • Demonstrating strong time management, communication, and technical skills.
  • Assisting with putting equipment together for installation projects.
  • Assisting with washing/cleaning equipment that comes back from the field.
  • Other general labour duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Forklift and or heavy equipment experience.
  • Familiarity with power/hand tools.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must be comfortable and able to work with little supervision.
  • Mechanically inclined.

Asset:

Additional consideration will be given to those having any of the following:

  • Forklift certification.
  • Previous warehouse, yard or shipping and receiving experience.
  • Safety & First Aid Training.

Other Information

  • This is a term position ending in October, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for their own transportation to and from our office in Calgary, AB.
