We are looking for an Industrial Mechanical Insulator Foreman or Ticketed Journeyman Insulator with the potential to step into a foreman role in our Industrial department. The initial assignment will be supervising a crew on a project in the Edmonton area.
This is a full-time position providing hands-on leadership and supervision, ensuring the safety and productivity of crews. As a key participant in the relationship with the contractor, company, and client, the Foreman acts as a management liaison assisting in the scheduling and coordination of the project. Position Requirements
- Comply with Thermal's HSE requirements for each site that you are working on and working on or with related equipment (e.g., ladders, swing stages, and scaffolds).
- Train new tradespeople as required.
- Able to work in variable weather conditions.
- Manage time to work on multiple projects daily.
Education
- Journeyman Insulator Ticket is required.
- Previous foreman or related supervisory experience is an asset.
- Possession of the following safety tickets is an asset. Must be able to acquire:
- CSTS
- Fall Protection
- WHMIS
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- 5+ years related practical experience.
- Current, valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Physically fit to work on feet for 8-10 hours.
