Title: Jr. Account Executive
Reports to: Managing Director
Based at: 135 Michael Cowpland, Suite 110 Kanata, ON K2M2E9
Job Purpose: Further develop PureSpitITs client base strategic accounts. Experienced in a VAR, the Account Manager will be leveraging current contacts for gain and selling to a defined account list for government and enterprise. Account Manager is responsible for driving new business, developing existing clientele, following up on leads and all other sales related activities.
Responsibilities / Activities
- Leveraging PureSpirIT s existing network of industry contacts to generate new business.
- Collaborating with other experienced team members to help drive success for the sales team.
- Ensuring outstanding customer service is always provided to all clients and partners.
- Building business plans as agreed to or assigned with specific targets.
- Achieving sales targets as agreed upon in collaboration with the Managing Director.
- Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives and working with the Managing Director to achieve business requirements of each individual client.
- Participating in client meetings and always working proactively, employing outcomes driven approach.
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Completing administrative work, as required.
- Continuous learning of Government procedures.
- In partnership with Inside Sales and System Engineers determine solutions which best meet client needs.
- Cold calling to book direct sales meetings.
- In partnership with Managing Director, identify target vertical and pre-qualify potential clients.
- Partnering with Inside Sales on run-rate opportunities.
- Manage forecast weekly within PureSpirIT's forecasting tool.
- Developing account plan as required on targeted accounts.
- Participating in weekly sales meetings, company sponsored events and marketing campaigns.
- Acquiring and maintaining technical knowledge of products and services being offered.
- Participating in training as required both in NCR and occasional travel.
- Develop and foster relationships with manufacturers and understand their business.
- Demonstrating passion to sell and support clients needs and requirements.
Skills and Attributes
- No Industry experience is required.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
- Existing contacts with current Shared Service or Government Organizations is an asset.
- Knowledge of Government procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.

- Strong organizational, judgement and leadership skills.
- Quick problem-solving skills with solutions that benefit both company and customer.
